NOTICE OF THE 21ST ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) OF SOUTHBROOM CONSERVANCY.

The AGM of Southbroom Conservancy will be held at Southbroom Golf Club at 10 am on 30 December 2024. If a quorum is not present, the alternate date is 6 January 2025 at 10am.

NOTE:

At least 120 people (10% of the Conservancy’s estimated membership) need to be present to form a quorum at the AGM, according to the Conservancy Constitution. Failing this, the meeting has to be deferred for 7 days, to Monday 6 January 2025, at which those present will constitute a quorum. Members are urged to attend.

Given the Conservancy’s now greatly expanded membership, the requirement for such a large number of members to constitute a quorum will be addressed at the AGM. It is proposed that the quorum clause be changed from 10% of members to a minimum of 25 members.
